Setta Solar is an innovative startup specializing in the development and implementation of 3D-printed modular solar panels for the agrivoltaics market, specifically targeting vineyards. Our unique solar panels, crafted using cutting-edge 3D printing technology and recycled materials, offer a reliable, sustainable, and efficient solution to the challenges faced by the wine industry.
The global agrivoltaics market was valued at $3.6 billion in 2021 and is projected to reach $9.3 billion by 2031, growing at a CAGR of 10.1% from 2022 to 2031.
We have no doubt that Portugal is the perfect place to launch our startup for several reasons. First of all, Portugal has a high solar potential due to its favorable climate and geographical position. The country receives an average of 2,500 to 3,000 hours of sunshine per year,
making it an ideal place to generate solar energy.
In addition, Portugal has a thriving wine industry, ranked 10th in the world in the production and import of grapes and wine. By focusing on vineyards, Setta Solar can enter a lucrative market that is increasingly focused on sustainability and energy efficiency.

Software which has soil moisture, UV and temperature sensors, controls irrigation systems and keeps soil and air conditions on the most appropriate and consistent level.
Through the use of a 3D printer, Setta Solar Panels can print the panels from recycled plastic, which makes them more environmentally friendly.

3D printing allows us to quickly and efficiently change the design and make the entire system unique for a specific customer - change the slope, light transmission, weight and size.

    Our CEO
    Alexey Lepkin has a Master's degree in engineering and profound experience in project and product management of international projects, what makes him an ideal CEO for a Setta Solar startup.
  • Roman Isaev
    Roman Isaev has a strong technical background in radio electronics and 3D printing technologies. He is responsible for development of Setta Solar's technologies and for improving solar panels design ideas developed by Alexey Lepkin.
  • Viacheslav Gotovshikov
    Chief Marketing Officer
    Viacheslav Gotovshikov has worked with steel production and has an experience in sustainable energy market. Under his guidance Setta Solar developed 5 years plan of expansion to global markets.
Having an internationally focused team with extensive experience, we would like to put our joint efforts into expanding our business to other regions and markets after the first year of our work, and we see that Setta Solar is easily scalable due to using 3D printing technology and growing need of solar energy in the world what is supported by EU Solar Energy Strategy 2030, US Solar Industry Strategy 2030 and Renewable Energy Targer by Australia.
Due to fast scalability of our product and huge experience of Portuguese people in wine industry we are eager to create at least 7 positions in Portugal market and also outsource Portuguese specialists for producing and assembling solar panels.
All things considered, our findings on the current business environment in Portugal, business potential in the agrivoltaivs market, accompanied with our previous experience of studying and working together as a team, made a big impact on us and on our thoughtful decision to start our next business in Portugal and to launch Setta Solar. As a team, we would be very glad to start working and develop our project here and to be a part of the current impactful changes we see in Portugal, as well as to contribute back with results of our work to the local Economy and creation of job potential.
